Becoming A Licensed Builder In SA

How To Become A Licensed Builder In South Australia

General Building Works

In accordance with the building and trades section of the SA.gov.au website, there are a number of requirements for becoming a licensed builder which include a financial check, police clearance, and confirmation of knowledge and experience. Additionally, there are options for General Residential Building Work and Restricted categories.

As part of the confirmation of knowledge and experience, there are sections requiring specific units of competency to be issued, or a CPC40120 – Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) or a CPC50220 – Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) be completed.

Back to Basics is here to help you with the education requirement of your SA Builders licence as our courses are not only nationally recognised, but they are also compliant with the requirements set out by these guidelines.

In the spirit of reconciliation Back to Basics acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
