QLD SSMR Queensland Site Supervisor – Medium Rise

The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) recognises this Site Supervisors License Program offered by Back to Basics Business Training Pty Ltd as being suitable for the Site Supervisor Builder Medium Rise License application.

Course Details

To be eligible for the Queensland Site Supervisor Licence – Medium Rise, you must have completed a suitable technical qualification or complete this recognised program which covers the required competencies set down by the QBCC. More information on the scope of works and requirements for this course can be found on the Queensland Building and Construction Commission’s (QBCC) website.

Applicants remain subject to other Government requirements with regard to relevant experience and other considerations at the discretion of the QBCC.

This course is prepared by clustering the 8 units of competency into 2 modules

Module 1 Project Management
Module 2 Construction Principles

  • Financial and contract management skills and techniques
  • Site supervision skills
  • Quantity measurement, estimating skills and tendering process
  • How to survey a site and complete the set-out procedure

These skills are broken up into 2 modules that are logically laid out and are updated regularly, providing you with an easy to follow textbook and relevant assessment material which will allow you to complete your course in your own environment with ease

CPCCBC5006 Apply site surveys and set-out procedures to building projects up to three storeys
CPCCBC5009 Identify services layout and connection methods for Type C and B construction
CPCCBC5010 Manage construction work
CPCCBC5018** Apply structural principles to the construction of buildings up to three storeys
