How To Become A Registered Building Contractor in the NT
NT Building Contractors Licence
In accordance with the NT Building Practitioners Board, there are several categories for builders registration including Restricted (one – two storeys) and Unrestricted (any height) Residential works, as well as Certifiers, Engineers, and Architects.
In order to meet the requirements for both the Restricted and Unrestricted Residential Licence, you will need to have completed a CPC40120 – Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) as well as have 3 years of relevant experience to the licence you are applying for and 3 written references.
